DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE) - Daviess County Public Schools are hosting three public forums to help develop recommendations to establish new classroom standards.
The Attendance Zone Committee is trying to determine the most effective learning environments for students and to make the most efficient use of existing classroom space.
To do that, the committee wants to hear from parents and other individuals in the district.
People will be able to voice suggestions and concerns at these sessions.
They will also receive information about population shifts and demographic growth in the community; capacity of school facilities; and learn about the DCPS Board of Education's direction and guiding principles.
The first forum is 5:30 Monday night at Burns Middle School.
