EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Construction on the new cloverleaf at Highway 41 and the Lloyd is well underway as most of you already know.
Construction in front of the Evansville Museum on Riverside Drive is also ongoing.
Chances are you've probably sat in traffic awhile during these constructions and complained.
I get it , and I'm not a fan of sitting in traffic as well, but the reasoning for it…I'm behind and stand for fully.
This is progress. You're not going to be able to have progress, without a little inconvenience.
Now, I know the timing isn't ideal with the Riverside Drive project going on, but as the old saying goes, this too shall pass.
Instead of looking at this as a problem, we should use this time to reflect and spend more quality time with our loved ones in the car.
Use the time to have a conversation with them. Give someone you haven't talked to in a while a call and catch up.
The point is, we live in a non-stop, distraction filled world right now.
Instead of focusing on a problem, we should be focusing on the improvement of our city.
An opportunity for a little more family time. An opportunity for quite-time and clarity.
Take a Stand for the opportunity this presents both for you, and the City of Evansville. That's my stand - what's yours?
