EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - It looks like people in the Tri-State are getting an early start on their Halloween preps.
Suzy Blesch, owner of Evansville's Nick Nackery, says the store started staying open later six weeks ago.
Blesch says she's seeing more people at the shop, but contrary to national trends, most are buying pre-made costumes.
"I think because costumes themselves are relatively inexpensive and well-made," Blesch says. "They're so much nicer than they used to be and we've seen a lot of prices go down, not go up, so as an end result to that, I think a lot of people are buying."
Many costume retailers report their stock is decreased, and many are already running out or sold out of the year's most popular costumes, especially those from the movie "Frozen".
