Filming for movie starts Monday in New Harmony

NEW HARMONY, IN (WFIE) - The filming of a movie will begin in New Harmony Monday.

That movie is called "The Colors of Emily."

It was written by Evansville native Michael Arnold.

Arnold says he wanted to film it in New Harmony because that is where he started writing it.

He says he's been preparing for Monday for four months now and he's excited to start filming.

The two leading actresses in the movie both say that New Harmony is a great fit for the film.

"This place is kicking cool," said Jenn Gotzon. "We begin filming tomorrow morning. We came in late last night when it was dark and when the sun rose and you could just see the autumn leaves in this quaint unique town, this is awesome."

Filming will start Monday and should be wrap up in New Harmony on October 23.
