With all that food, the Fall Festival generates lots of trash. Deanna Allbrittin is live on West Franklin St. to tell us what the West Side Nut Club is doing differently with some of it.
It will be wet again this morning, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, even some small hail is possible. The showers and storms should move out by noon. This afternoon a little clearing will take place and temperatures will make it up into the 70's, but it will be breezy with winds gusting up to 25 mph. Eric Garlick is tracking on 14 Dual Doppler.
There will be a construction milestone at Holiday World today for the Thunderbird, the park's new wing roller coaster. The highest piece of track will be lifted into place by a 165-foot crane. We'll have the details.
We'll also check the scoreboard to see who leads the pack in the Sunrise Fall Fest food challenge.
So enjoy your day, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
