GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) - A man and his son originally from Corydon are working to remove, restore and repurpose an approximately 140 year old grain bin in Gibson County.
Michael Bailey started Bailey Construction in 2000 with the hopes of finding and restoring old log cabins and barns.
Bailey, who describes himself as a white collar worker before starting the business, says he wanted to learn how to work with his hands and teach his sons the importance of hard work.
His 14-year-old son Jarin is helping him on this project in Gibson County.
Bailey says they will repurpose this building as a guest house for their client.
He says there are literally hundreds of log cabins across southern Indiana and hopes more people take to restoring them for the next generation to enjoy.
