WAYNE CO., IL (WFIE) - An arrest is made in connection with a social media threat that forced a Tri-State school into lockdown.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Lucas Gifford on a felony charge of disorderly conduct.

Officers were called to Fairfield Community High School in Illinois on Monday morning after two students found a post on social media saying there was a student in the bathroom with a gun.

A full sweep was made of the building and nothing was found.

Due to the nature of the threat, police were able to get enough information from the social media site to arrest Gifford.
