In Oakland City, an automated flagging device is directing two-way traffic on State Road 57 to share one lane.

Crews are repairing bridge joints at Keg Creek and the railroad north of State Road 64.

The work should last the rest of the week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In Daviess County, a major portion of the U.S. 60 extension is now open.

The contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet opened the east and westbound lanes on the six mile long section earlier this week.

Officials are asking drivers to use caution in the area because crews are still finishing up work there.

In Owensboro, OMU is closing Venable Avenue from 9th Street to 12th Street from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
