Your Daily Drive for Wednesday, September 10

In Gibson County, the sheriff's office says Old U.S. Highway 41 will be shut down from County Road 200 South to County Road 250 South. The closure is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Drivers are advised to take another route to work or school.

No left turns are allowed this week at the 64-65 junction in Gibson County. Construction is also preventing motorists from going north or south through the intersection. Deputies say straight east-west traffic is normal. Crews hope to finish up this project by the end of the week.

In Hopkins County, there's concrete pavement work going on in Madisonville. The transportation cabinet says the work zone is on U.S. 41, South Main Street, from Kentucky 2171 to McCoy Avenue. Right now, the left lanes are closed and all traffic must move to the right lanes. When the northern half between Kentucky 336 and 2171 is done, the lane closure will move to the southern half from McCoy to Kentucky 336. Then the work zones will start over again in the right lanes. These lane restrictions are expected to last until October 3rd.

In Daviess County, there will be asphalt paving Wednesday on Kentucky 1554 at Kentucky 960 to U.S. 60.
