Demolition underway at old Grayville High School

GRAYVILLE, IL (WFIE) - Demolition work is underway at the old Grayville, Illinois High School.

Workers are hauling debris and bricks to a landfill in Kentucky.

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is paying for the demolition because of asbestos contamination.

Work is expected to take about 20 days.

There was an arson last year that destroyed much of the building.
