Owensboro Flea Market back in town

Some great deals will be on display at the Owensboro Convention Center September 5-7.

Stewart promotions based out of Louisville is bringing back the flea market for the second time this year. The grand opening in March of 2014 was a huge success, bringing in more than 15,000 people to the downtown area. Organizers are expecting even more people to attend over the weekend.

More than 200 booths will be set up in the downstairs ballroom. Guests can browse a variety of items: including: antiques, furniture, jewelry and much more.

Several University of Kentucky basketball players will make an appearance at the flea market on Saturday. NCAA Championship players Jarrod Polson, Anthony Epps, Jeff Shepard, and Kyle Macy will be signing autographs from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

The flea market hours are Friday from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Admission is $1 and parking is free.
