Your Daily Drive for Tuesday, September 2

In Henderson, there will be a southbound lane restriction on U-S 41 starting Tuesday.

This is to allow construction of concrete entrances at the new Max Fuels convenience store in the 3100 block.

Work is expected from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for about three days.

The area is about a half mile south of the Kentucky 414-Stratman Road intersection.

In Owensboro, a section of Kentucky 1255, or Triplett Street, will be down to one lane starting Tuesday.

The area is between 9th Street and Kentucky 54 or East Parrish Avenue.

The transportation cabinet says this is for a water main tap to complete a water loop for O-M-U.

The project is expected to take about three days.

In Oakland City, an automated flagging device will direct two-way traffic on State Road 57 to share one lane starting Tuesday.

Crews are repairing bridge joints at Keg Creek and the railroad north of State Road 64.

The work should take place the rest of this week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
