Henderson Co. schools want feedback on back to school blitz

Posted: Updated:
HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) -

Henderson County schools want to know what parents thought of the week-long back-to-school blitz, and how they can improve.

This year, some 800 teachers made home visits to students in elementary, middle, and high school.

It was a quick meet-and-greet at each student's door, plus the teachers handed out various forms.

The goal was to help students and teachers make a connection before the school year began.

The schools are asking parents to fill out a survey about the blitz. Click here for a link.

The survey is open until 5:00 p.m. Friday.

If you have questions, you may call Cindy Williams, Public Relations Officer, at (270) 831-5000 or email cindy.williams@henderson.kyschools.us.
