Ebola patient to be released

We're learning that one of the Ebola patients being treated at an Atlanta hospital is expected to be released later today.  The latest is coming up on Sunrise.

Missing women vigil

Hundreds of people gathered Wednesday night to pray for the safe return of three missing Tri-State women.  We'll take you to the vigil.

Storms & heat

Overnight showers and thunderstorms will give way to another very hot day.  A heat advisory begins again at noon.  Meteorologist Byron Douglas says those temperatures in the 90s will stick around for a while.  Catch his complete forecast on Sunrise.

Welcome week

Students will start arriving at USI today to get ready for a new school year.  Deanna Allbrittin is live on campus this morning to tell us what the university is expecting on move-in day.

    Mayor Lloyd Winnecke says a group met with a project consultant and some think Roberts Park might be the perfect location. There's plenty of space and with other sporting facilities near the site, could be used to attract out of town swimming tournaments.
