Owensboro Restaurant hosting to dinner to benefit shelter

An Owensboro restaurant is hosting a dinner to benefit a local animal shelter. Pangea Café will be hosting a murder mystery dinner on the roof of the parking garage across from the Riverpark Center in downtown Owensboro. Funds from the $40 ticket price will go towards helping the animal shelter in Owensboro. A three course meal from Pangea Café will be served. The murder mystery story that night will take place in the Wild West.

"We've been doing so many fundraisers and we wanted to do one to help out the animal shelter," said Steve Champion, Pangea Café Special Events Manager, "We have a pretty good animal shelter here. They do a good job placing all the animals. We thought they were a deserving bunch."

The event begins Saturday, August 30th at 8:00pm. For more information you can contact Pangea Café at (270) 689-9824.
