The traffic signal at Barker and Broadway Avenues in Evansville will be flashing red for six months while the city watches the way traffic flows.
Officials tell us they made the change because of driver complaints.
Executive Director Todd Robertson says improving traffic patterns not only saves people time, but helps the environment.
"People may not always take in consideration that the longer the car has to wait or the less efficient that traffic pattern is, the more carbon you put into the atmosphere," said Robertson.
He says people should notice a difference, good or bad, right away.
They want to hear what you think about the change.
