Arcade Ave. homicide victim ID'd

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man who was shot and killed behind a vacant apartment complex late on the night of Aug. 15 has been identified.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, 30-year-old LaJuan Gordon died of a gunshot wound in the 1600 block of Arcade Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday. Deputy Coroner Larry Carroll said Gordon was pronounced dead at the scene, but he declined to release the location of the gunshot wound.

No suspect information has been released.
