There will be a sobriety checkpoint in Vanderburgh County sometime over the weekend.
Indiana State Police say drivers who are not impaired can expect short delays.
Troopers advise motorists to call 9-1-1 or the closest state police post if they suspect a drunk driver.
The Madisonville Police Department is joining the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
There will be sobriety checkpoints in different parts of the city: including South Kentucky and East Jagoe, West Noel Avenue and Daniel Drive and Exit 42 of the Pennyrile Parkway.
The campaign runs through Labor Day.
