Dylan Meyer is your champion of the Evansville Men's City golf tournament.
Meyer finished with a 19-under for the tourney, setting a new men's city record in the process. He eclipsed the old record of -17, previously held by Kevin Wassmer.
Meyer came into the weekend, trailing David Mills, by two strokes. He quickly erased that deficit yesterday, surging ahead of Mills on the front nine at Rolling Hills. The day ended, with Meyer leading by one shot, heading into today's final round at Evansville Country Club.
Today, Meyer exploded on the front nine, taking a 6-shot lead into the back nine, and he essentially had it won there. He added a few more birdies, to finish his record round of -19 and win his first-ever Men's city tournament.
David Mills was second at -12, while defending champ, Logan Osborne and Alex Turner, each finished at +2, in a tie for third.
