HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) - One of the oldest free bluegrass festivals is scheduled to take place in Henderson from August 7 through August 9.
The 29th annual Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival features live music, sporting events, and children activities.
The festival kicks off Thursday at the Henderson Fine Arts Center with a performance by Mandarin Orange.
Tickets for the 7:00 p.m. concert can be purchased at the center's box office.
On Friday and Saturday, the festival will be held at the Audubon Mill Park. All of the activities and concerts at the park are free.
Hours on Friday are 5:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
