In Warrick County, resurfacing on I-64 between I-69 and State Road 61 is shutting down one lane each weekday in the month of August. Drivers are advised to slow down and stay alert in work zones. INDOT says resurfacing preserves and protects existing taxpayer investment in pavement, extends service life and prevents moisture infiltration that leads to potholes.
More tri-state students are hitting the books for the new school year. Greater Jasper, Union County, Webster County, Southeast Dubois, Southwest Dubois and several Catholic schools in Evansville are starting back up Thursday. Drivers are advised to slow down in school zones, expect delays in those areas and keep an eye out for students.
Also Thursday in Henderson, northbound traffic will be shifted to the right lane in the U.S. 41 Twin Bridges work zone.
