Attorney's widow takes on triple homicide case

BOYLE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - A prominent Kentucky attorney’s widow is taking on one of her husband’s high profile cases following his murder.

With her husband's wedding ring around her neck, Bethany Stanziano appeared in the Boyle County Courthouse Monday to defend Kenneth Allen Keith.

Keith accused of shooting and killing Michael and Angela Hockensmith, of Lincoln County, along with a third victim, Daniel Smith of Richmond at ABC Gold Games and More in Danville in 2013.

Bethany Stanziano's husband, Mark Stanziano, was working on the case before his death.

“It's either this or I might as well lay down and die I have to keep going I don't have a choice,” Stanziano said.

Clinton Inabnitt, who lived across the street from Mark Stanziano’s office, is charged in his murder.

Inabnitt has entered a not guilty plea to the crime.

He remains in the Pulaski County Jail waiting for his next hearing scheduled for September.
