EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The recent addition of Brandon Bartlett to the 4PM News as co-anchor is the first in a couple of movements for 14News anchors.
Long time morning anchor Beth Sweeney is making the big jump to evening newscasts and Erin Meyer is now the full time co-anchor of 14News Sunrise alongside Dan Katz and Byron Douglas.
For the past several years, Beth Sweeney has sharpened her skills as a journalist and championed breaking news in the morning. Her drive for news that our viewers want will be a perfect addition to what David James, Jackie Monroe, Jeff Lyons, and Brandon Bartlett are providing in the evenings.
With Beth Sweeney currently at home as a new mom, Erin Meyer's performance over the past couple of months in Beth's place shows that she has what it takes to continue a long tradition of quality newscasts in the morning on WFIE.
Erin's transition into her role as full time anchor is effective immediately and Beth Sweeney will make her transition into evenings when she comes back from leave at the end of August.
