Cincinnati Bell goes back to the '80s for Fireworks Kickoff

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Bell and WEBN will turn back the clock a few decades as they celebrate the official countdown and kickoff to the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks at Fountain Square on Friday.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. patrons are encouraged to come to Fountain Square dressed in '80s clothes for free food, giveaways and a chance to appear in the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks promotional TV spot.

Patrons can enter Cincinnati Bell's "Fastest Way to the Fireworks" promotion where one lucky winning and nine guests will live large with a VIP experience at the Fireworks event, complete with a police-escorted ride to and from the Fireworks in an '80s-themed limousine, access to a VIP food area and front row seats. 

The promotion runs from Aug. 1-22, entries will be accepted during the Fountain Square Kickoff event, on their Facebook or at any Cincinnati Bell retail store beginning Aug. 1.

Visitors to Fountain Square will also have the chance to stop by Cincinnati Bell's state-of-the-art Fioptics mobile store and interact with Fioptics TV, Internet displays and gaming consoles, or relax in comfortable seating while taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi access point. 

The Cincinnati Bell WEBN fireworks happen August 31 and will be broadcast live on FOX19 NOW and FOX19NOW.com.
