Foggy Finale?

Thursday, July 31, 2014

Nice July ending

Not as cool this morning with gentle winds from the south. Morning lows ranged upper 50s to the lower to middle 60s. Byron is tracking scattered fog this morning under clear skies…fog developing near rivers and lakes too.  Once the fog burns off it will be mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the mid 80's.

Overnight wreck

Deputies in Gibson County say a vehicle flipped early this morning.  They say the driver told them he fell asleep around one this morning on Highway 65 North near Highway 68. The driver wasn't hurt, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Summer swan song in DC

Congress heads off on a five-week break today with a lot of key issues still on the table.

Gone to the Dogs

The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the 9th annual "Gone to the Dogs" event on Sunday, August 3 at Combest Pool.  Emily Busby is live with that.

Weather extra

And Meteorologist Eric Garlick joins us with some weather extras.

So enjoy your day, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
