LA GRANGE, KY (WAVE) - An Oldham County grand jury has declined to indict two men who were charged with murder in a deadly shooting last May.

Officers were dispatched to a home along East Washington Street in La Grange on May 11 after a fight inside the home spilled on the front yard, and a shot was fired. Investigators described the incident as a drug deal gone bad.

Justin Rogers, 24, of La Grange died at the scene of a gunshot wound to the chest.

Henry Schultz-Eggenspiller and Robert Cabrera were taken into custody and charged with murder.

This week, a grand jury indicted Schultz-Eggenspiller only on charges of tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy to commit trafficking in a controlled substance. Cabrera was indicted on a conspiracy to commit trafficking in a controlled substance charge. Those charges are related to the May 11 incident.
