PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Two teenagers accused of torturing a 16-year-old boy inside a shed were sentenced to prison Thursday.

Jenna Montgomery and Jess Taylor both pleaded guilty to kidnapping, robbery and assault charges. Montgomery will spend nearly 10 years in prison for the crime. Taylor was sentenced to more than seven years.

The teenagers were charged as adults for the February attack on 16-year-old Dustyn Murrain.

According to court documents, Montgomery lured Murrain into a shed in Southeast Portland where Taylor and two other teens were waiting.

Police said the four teenagers shot Murrain with a BB gun at close range, hit him with a crowbar and used a box cutter to carve a swastika in his face.

The victim's mother, Kelli Murrain said the teens were emotional as they heard their sentences in court.

"There was a lot of tears on their side," Kelli Murrain said. "I don't know if it was because they don't like the amount of time they're getting or if they really feel remorse for what they've done. I'd like to think they do but I don't know."

Blue Kalmbach, who is also being charged as an adult in the case, is expected in court in August. The fourth teenager was charged in juvenile court.

Kelli Murrain said her son is moving past the assault with help from family, friends and counseling.
