MADISONVILLE, KY (WFIE) -

A lemonade has been stand set up in Madisonville by four children raising money for cancer research.

It's a small operation with not much advertising that mainly relies on word of mouth but the four kids have already had some huge success.

In just under 24 hours Kenzie, Addison, Connor, and McKenzie have raised $138 to donate to Cookies for Kids with Cancer, a national organization funding cancer research.

Connor says,"we're doing this so we can give other kids a chance to be normal like us."

Cancer survivor, Kenzie Marks, just hit two years cancer free after she had to have her right kidney and a six pound tumor removed due to kidney cancer in 2011.

Now Kenzie just wants to give back.

Kenzie says, "it helps the pharmacists to figure out to help all the other kids."

The kids will open up their stand for business near 796 Sunset Dr. at noon on Friday.
