Man accused of murder in Hardin Co. crash faces drug trafficking, organized crime charges

HARDIN COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - The man charged with murder and DUI after a wreck that killed a 17-year-old girl has been indicted on charges related to alleged organized crime activity.
Michael Hilton, 34, is charged with engaging in organized crime, trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender, according to court records.
Hilton is being held in Nelson County jail after he was involved in a wreck that killed Brianna Taylor and injured 18-year-old Mickayla Harig.

According to the News-Enterprise
, Hilton is one of seven indicted in connection with a methamphetamine ring spanning several counties in central Kentucky and involving more than 20 people.
