Eastland Mall hosted the city of Evansville's monthly traveling city hall on Saturday.
Representatives from all of the city's departments were in attendance to meet with Evansville residents.
Mayor Lloyd Winnecke says they do the traveling city hall to make city representatives more available to the public so business between the city and its residents be done quicker and more efficiently.
Winnecke says this is the fourth time they've held the event at the mall.
"This is a chance just to catch shoppers as they're out and about," says Winnecke. "It's a chance for them to sit down and visit with me or any other city department head. You know, maybe they have business to do with the Parks Department, or the Fire Department, or the Police Department, whomever. But it's a chance just to, in a real casual setting, to sit down and visit about any city business they have."
The date of the next traveling city hall event will be posted on the city's website.
