A truck rally was held on Friday for Mike Boeglin, the Ferdinand truck driver killed last month in Detroit.
Authorities say he was shot, and his semi set on fire.
Boeglin's wife Ashley says she's grateful for all the community support, not only for her but for her unborn child.
Seven semi-trucks paraded down Main Street in Ferdinand in honor of Boeglin.
Ashley Boeglin says she has received a lot of support from friends, family, and strangers alike.
Ashley says this type of community support has comforted her to an extent.
What has not given her comfort is the investigation into Mike's death in Detroit.
Ashley says no progress has been made in the investigation and that she, their family, and friends are very frustrated.
"I don't want to say I feel slighted by them but I feel that because Mike may not be from around there that his case may not be getting the attention for which I feel that he should be given," says Ashley. "A lot of them that I've talked to have even said, 'You know, we have hundreds of cases. And we don't have the time to be able to take with everyone.' And I worry that Mike will just be swept underneath the table in this regard."
