LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The former principal of Pleasure Ridge Park High School has repaid the Jefferson County Public Schools nearly $12,000 in unauthorized expenses.
David Johnson retired last month following a district investigation that found lavish accommodations, meals and car rentals at the expense of PRP High.
Ben Jackey, a JCPS spokesman, said Johnson no longer has an outstanding balance with the district. Jackey did not say whether Johnson repaid the money himself of if the funds were deducted from payroll.
No criminal charges were filed against Johnson.
