Dollhouse Tattoo Studio and the Covington Branch of the Kenton County Library are teaming up to provide the first-ever Tattoo Fest this Saturday.
"[I'll be] there to talk to [visitors] about coming up with designs and what to look for in a studio," said Monique Wilson, owner of Dollhouse Tattoo Studio. "[It's important to] find an artist who appeals to your sense of style and what you identify with."
Lesley Daley, an adult librarian at the Covington Library, said that there has been wide interest expressed through the visitors of the library. With all the inquiries about tattoos, she felt it was only appropriate to hold the festival.
Visitors of the festival can expect advice on safety tips, how to pick a design, choosing a studio and more. Additionally, there will be discussion from James Dryer, owner of Asylum Tattoo in Latonia, Monique Wilson and representatives from the Northern Kentucky Health Department.
The festival is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Covington Library.
