HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) -

Residents in a neighborhood off of Wathen Lane in Henderson say they're not surprised after video surfaced on Facebook of two cars being broken in to.

The surveillance video is being passed around Facebook with comments claiming a group of guys pulled up and turned their lights off and started going through someone's car.

Neighbors say this isn't the first time this has happened.

Henderson police say a report has been filed, and they're investigating.

The poster says it appears the guys were driving a small, light colored SUV.

Tanna Williams lives in the neighborhood, she says everyone needs to be aware of who is around.

"Every time we hear these things we are reminded that we do need to be careful and no place is really a safe place. It doesn't matter how nice it looks or how cut everybody's grass is, we're all equally at risk for these types of things," says Williams.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Henderson Police at (270) 831-1295.
