Henderson City manager Russell Sights told commissioners Tuesday night the city needed more money for their 911 upgrade.
The consulting firm for the project, Federal Engineering out of Fairfax Virginia, told the commission it was going to cost more than expected, a number they're not sure of, yet.
The city had originally issued a 10 million dollar bond to support the upgrade and for future Henderson Water Utility projects.
"It won't delay the project at all, we think its going to be close to the end of the year before we have a package put together anyway to award," says Sights.
He says they can award a contract this year to construct the 9-1-1 upgrade, but will have to wait until 2015 to get new bonds for the project.
