“Plan to be Tobacco Free” resource classes being held in Owensboro

Thinking about quitting smoking? The Kentucky Cancer Program is offering free classes to help people kick the habit.

KCP will hold its "Plan to be Tobacco Free" resource class on Tuesday, July 8 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital Auditorium.

The classes are designed to let tobacco users know what's available to them if they want to quit.

There will be two classes. One from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and the other from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Those who attend will be able to get resource material to help them quit.

You can register for the classes by calling 270-688-4856.

Walk in are also welcome.
