Driver ran away after wreck injuring 4 passengers, police say

RADCLIFF, KY (WAVE) - Police are looking for a driver who ran away after a wreck that injured his four passengers, Radcliff police said.

Two passengers were flown to University of Louisville Hospital, and two others were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital after the SUV pulled out in front of another car, according Bryce Shumate, spokesman for the Radcliff Police Department. After being hit, the SUV spun around and hit another vehicle at a stoplight, Shumate said.

The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 31W and Fairmont Drive. Shumate said the SUV was pulling out of the parking lot of a restaurant when it was hit.

The condition of the passengers of the SUV is not known. No one was injured in the other vehicles.
