If you don't know his name, you surely know his body of work. Some of his movies, just to name a few, are Top Gun, Flashdance, Beverly Hills Cop and Pirates of the Caribbean.
During a rare interview, the Bruckheimers talked about their mission to preserve Bloomfield with shops, antiques, and a meeting hall complete with ice cream parlor, roller skating and bowling lanes. On July 5, Bloomfield will be the backdrop for a big party celebrating a book that documents Jerry's 40 years of TV and film making. The best part - everyone's invited.
“My wife loves giving parties,” said Jerry. “You can’t get her to leave, it's hard to get her to come, but once she's there she won't leave. She has the best time and throws the best parties so anybody who comes here will have a great time, have a blast and get to meet both of us. We'll talk shop, talk Hollywood, we'll talk about our experiences here in Bloomfield.”
Jerry Bruckheimer will sign his commemorative book from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
We’ll have much more of the Bruckheimers story and the story of Bloomfield's rebirth in the coming days.
