EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Authorities say during a route traffic stop they determined the driver Darrell Hughes was intoxicated and had a BAC of .16.

Officials say 2 passengers, Michael Thomas and Aaron Maffett, denied having any firearms in the car but after a short search police found two guns hidden in the SUV.

Records show the serial number on one of the guns was scratched off.

Records show Thomas admitted to officers the eight grams of marijuana belonged to him.

All three are facing several charges.

Maffett and Hughes are in the Vanderbugh County Jail without Bond.

Thomas was released on $1000 bond.
