Drivers on the west side may have trouble staying on their side of Boehne Camp Rd. in Vanderburgh County.
The newly painted lines are a bit crooked.
Residents say the road just received a much needed re-paving, but the center line zig-zags all the way to Middle Mt. Vernon Rd.
Drivers say it's time the lines are straightened out.
"I thought they maybe had a reason for it, but apparently not," said Tonya Hall. "I went down the road when they were actually doing it. I mean they could eye it and see it wasn't actually straight. If they have to re-do it, that's a waste of time. It needs to be redone because one part of the road is kind of narrow if you try to go by the line."
Officials with the County Highway Department say the project wasn't completed up to their expected standards.
The superintendent says new, permanent road stripes will be painted later in July.
