Mineral man cited for leaving dog in hot car

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Chesterfield Animal Control officers found a dog in distress when they responded Wednesday to a call about a dog being left inside a hot car outside Chesterfield Town Center.

After locating the owner of the dog, officers cited Roy S. Sieg, 33, of Mineral, for inadequate shelter.

Authorities said Sieg's dog recovered.
