(CNN) - The suspected ringleader in the deadly 2012 Benghazi attack was heavily guarded and in court Wednesday.
Last Saturday, Ahmed Abu Khatallah pleaded not guilty to one count of providing material support to terrorists.
The attack on the American Diplomatic Mission in Libya killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
U.S. officials say the investigation against Khatallah is ongoing and more charges will be brought.
