The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office will be holding saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints through the upcoming Fourth of July and the rest of the month.
Deputies say those checkpoints will be set up in the county over the weekends during the overnight hours.
The sheriff's office says the summer months typically see an uptick in impaired driving related crashes.
Both the sheriff's office and the Evansville Police Department will be aggressively looking for drunk drivers and say they will arrest anyone caught driving impaired.
