EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
The Ark Child Crisis Care Center in Evansville got a big donation.
Members from the Rotaract Club of Evansville donated $5,000.
Center officials money will go toward a facility upgrade including a new natural playground.
Funds were raised at the club's first ever Rotaract Fiesta night on April 5th.
"The playground that they're using is still the parking lot from when we were a bank, before we became a child care center," says Ark Executive Director Angie Cooley. "So it's not good enough for these kids, they deserve the best, and thanks to Rotaract they're going to get the best."
