Authorities investigating fatal fire in Knox Co.

Authorities say one person is dead after a fire in Knox County.

According to WTHI-TV, officials responded to the 2600 area of South Sievers Road just after 10 a.m. Thursday for a pole barn fire.

"Upon investigation we did find an individual in the building and at this time the coroner's office is working the case, based upon the individual we found inside the building," Eddie King, Vincennes Township Fire Deputy Chief, told WTHI. "At this time it is determined to be a fatal fire."
