(CNN) - GM has ordered dealers in the U.S. and Canada to stop selling 2013 and 2014 Chevy Cruze sedans because of a potential airbag defect.
Some 33,000 cars are involved.
The airbags were made by Japanese supplier Takata.
A stop-sale order is not the same as a recall.
The Cruze is GM's best-selling car model in the United States, selling 248,000 last year.
