Economic development officials announced today the opening of a new supply distribution operation for Advance Tabco in Dawson Springs.
The company, which produces stainless steel kitchen equipment, plans to hire 6 full-time jobs and invest $500,000 into the project.
Company officials tell 14News the new operation gives them greater access to markets in the Midwest and the future looks bright for a continued partnership.
"As far as future plans for expansion, we always leave that open because we never know what's going to avail itself to us. We have the room. We're going to focus on the warehousing and distribution initially, but we're certainly looking at the option of some light manufacturing," says Advance Tabco official Ted Piazza.
The company already has operations throughout the country supplying high-end kitchen equipment to restaurants, buildings, and stadiums.
