The last two members of the Chicago-area Pearl Harbor Survivors Association have had their final reunion.
94-year-old Joe Triolo of Waukegan and 92-year-old Lyle Hancock of Wheeling had lunch Sunday at Lambs Farm in Libertyville. That's where the group has had its reunions every year for the last two decades. The room on Sunday was filled with memorabilia, including pictures of the group's members.
Triolo says he was aboard a cargo ship during the attack. Hancock says he was stationed at the Navy Yard Dispensary.
The group donated the remainder of its funds to Lambs Farm.
