The Henderson City-County Planning Commission is hoping to finally get their proposed Zoning Ordinance passed at tomorrow's city commission meeting.
The ordinance will allow certain businesses, such as tattoo parlors and pawn shops- to open up downtown after they present their plans to the board of adjustments.
The original ordinance banned those businesses altogether.
The Commission had to come up with a new amendment after several local business owners said it could hamper future business opportunities for them.
"It's been an 18 month, well now its been a 20 month process, so at tomorrow's meeting, it'll all be over with, hopefully," says Curt Freese with the City-County Planning Commission.
That meeting is Tuesday night at 5:30.
