Heart "stoppage"

The United States had to settle for a 2-2 tie with Portugal in World Cup play on Sunday after carrying a 2-1 lead into stoppage time. Jermaine Jones and Clint Dempsey scored in the second half to put the Americans ahead 2-1 and on the verge of clinching a spot in the knockout stage. But Cristiano Ronaldo set up Varela for a game-tying header in the fifth extra minute.

Rain finally?

We're going on almost two weeks without rain, but our chances will increase early this week. The best opportunity for rain will be late today through Tuesday night. Byron is back from vacation with the 14 First Alert forecast.

Kerry in Iraq

Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Iraq, a nation that saw the departure of American troops just three years ago and now faces threat of a civil war. Kerry's scheduled to meet today with Iraq's Shiite prime minister and top Sunni and Kurdish leaders.
